Hi friends! I'm thrilled to share that I've been selected as a model (ah!) for an upcoming Rock Your Style® fundraiser on September 30th to support the NYOH Community Cancer Foundation. This means that I'm raising awareness and funds to help local people with cancer and walking the runway in style to support this incredible cause! NYOH Community Cancer Foundation directly helps individuals with cancer and their families by providing much needed resources and support. They provide financial support, groceries, prepared meals, transportation to medical appointments, and hotel accommodations for treatment, for example, as well as specific items requested by individuals with cancer to help reduce the burden of their care and enhance the quality of their lives.
I'm walking the runway in memory of my mom, Eileen Haworth Weil, and her sister and my aunt, Rona Gelfand, two incredible and inspiring women who we lost too early to cancer. My mom and aunt each left behind a legacy in their communities and families, and I want to honor their memories by making an impact. This event is a great way for me to do that.
